Immediately upon project initiation, Rainbow International Restoration of Westchester performed comprehensive water mitigation, followed by fire and smoke remediation. The Rainbow team then submitted a series of engineering and architectural solutions which would guide the upcoming restoration work.
Rainbow project managers coordinated up to 40 onsite employees and subcontractors at any given time, supervising the installation of new structural steel joists, removal of over 175 tons of construction debris, and upgrading of the building's firestopping systems to protect residents and ensure compliance. A total of 16 permits were filed, including fire cleanup, building, plumbing, and electrical. Within the structure, a complete gut-out of 19 apartmennts was accomplished, along with the total renovation and rebuild of 22 apartments, 27 stairwells, and 27 hallways. On the exterior, the Rainbow team applied its innovative LaserClean technology to remove structural soot and smoke residue. A high power, environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional blast cleaning, LaserClean eliminates the hazards of chemical solvents and the waste generated by projectiles like sand, glass beads or dry ice pellets.Rainbow International Restoration of Westchester delivered on all the following:
